Q. What is the benefit to having a personal chef over eating out at a restaurant every night?
A. One of the major benefits to having your own personal chef is the personal attention you receive in planning your meals. Our menu is just a sampling of the meals we can make for you. Our meals are prepared following your instructions with regard to diet, calories, salt content, etc. In general, our meals can be prepared exactly to your standards and can provide a healthy, balanced diet for you and your family. Finally, having a personal chef makes dinner easy and convenient. You can arrive home from work and have a gourmet dinner ready for yourself or your family within minutes.

Q. Can you prepare organic meals for my family?
A. Yes. We can prepare most meals on our menu using organic ingredients.
Q. How is the food packaged?
A. For customers that prefer to heat their food in the microwave, we use VERSAtainer microwaveable containers to package your food. These tight-sealing containers keep your food fresh, while giving you the convenience of transferring your food directly from the freezer to your microwave. For customers that prefer to heat their food in the oven and for some of our family-style meals, we package our food in aluminum containers that are oven-safe. We always provide you reheating instructions depending on the type of packaging you choose.
Q. Can you prepare my old family recipe?
A. Of course! If you have a favorite recipe you'd like to share, we will be happy to prepare it. Or, if you don't have the original recipe, we can try to find a recipe for you that reminds you of your favorite dish.
Q. How do I get started?
A. It's very easy to get started with our personal chef service. You can start by filling out some information on our sign up page, or, you can call us at 215.774.1179 and we'll set up a consultation with you to find out if we can provide the services you are looking for. We'll do an interview to find out your food preferences, any allergies you have, and any health restrictions you have. Then, we'll lay out your meal plan and set up a day for us to prepare your food.
Q. How long will the food last?
A. We recommend eating your food within one month of the date it is prepared. While bacteria cannot grow at freezer temperatures, and your food will be safe to eat for several months after storage, the food will begin to deteriorate and lose its flavor.
